Tasks that aren't allowed

  • Anything illegal, or that helps someone break the law.
  • Adult or sexual services of any kind.
  • Weapons, drugs, alcohol or tobacco delivery to people who can't legally receive them.
  • Buying gift cards, cash, crypto or vouchers on someone else's behalf. These are common scams.
  • Moving money: receiving and forwarding payments, opening accounts for others.
  • Fake reviews, fake ratings or fake engagement of any kind, including reviews from people who haven't used the product. Approved quick task campaigns may only ask for honest opinions.
  • Academic dishonesty, like sitting exams or writing assessed work for someone else.
  • Recruiting for other platforms, pyramid schemes or anything that asks taskers to pay to work.
  • Tasks that need a licence the tasker doesn't hold (for example unlicensed electrical or gas work).

Writing a good task

  • Use a clear title that says what needs doing: "Test my Android app and report bugs" works better than "Help needed".
  • Describe the job, the size, any must haves and what you'll supply, like a test build, a brief or brand files.
  • Add screenshots or photos where they help.
  • Set a fair budget. Our cost guides show what similar tasks really cost.
  • Don't include phone numbers, emails or links in the public description. Share them in private messages after you assign someone.

Quick task campaigns

  • Campaigns must ask for honest engagement from real accounts.
  • Review and feedback campaigns are for people who have actually used your product. They must accept honest opinions, good or bad, can't require a star rating or pay more for positive reviews, and must follow the rules of the store or platform involved.
  • Don't ask earners to break a platform's terms, use bots or share accounts.
  • Banned communities and subreddits can't be targeted.

What we do with tasks that break the rules

Our team removes tasks and campaigns that break these rules and refunds any funds held. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to suspension. If you think we got it wrong, contact Support.
