Who can leave a review
Only the poster and the assigned tasker can review each other, and only after the task is completed on TaskCoast. Each person can review a task once.
What makes a helpful review
- Describe your experience of this task: timing, communication, quality and value.
- Be specific. "Found three real bugs and sent a recording of each" or "Arrived on time and anchored the wardrobe" helps more than "Great".
- Keep it respectful, even if things went badly.
What's not allowed
- Reviews about things unrelated to the task.
- Personal information such as phone numbers, addresses or emails.
- Offensive, discriminatory or threatening language.
- Reviews offered in exchange for money, discounts or a better rating in return.
- Pressuring someone to change or remove a review.
Removed reviews
Our moderators remove reviews that break these guidelines. Once a review has been removed, it can't be submitted again for that task. If you see a review that breaks the rules, report it through Support.
Responding to a bad review
It happens to everyone. Reply calmly in chat, put things right if you can, and let your next reviews speak for you. A thoughtful response often reassures future posters more than a perfect score.
