Make an inventory
List the big items and estimate the number of boxes. Mention anything heavy or fragile, like a piano, a glass table or a fridge.
Describe both addresses
Stairs, lifts and parking at each end change how long a move takes. Say how far the vehicle can park from the door.
Compare offers
Look at reviews for moving tasks, the vehicle offered and how many people will come. Ask how they protect furniture.
On the day
- Have boxes packed and labelled by room
- Keep valuables and documents with you
- Reserve parking if your building needs it
After the move
Check everything arrived safely before you release payment, then leave a review to help the next person.
